Group study program content materials is composed of Aeronautical General Knowledge, Airframes and Propulsion Systems, Meteorology and the required ground school material derived from the current 2018 format as prescribe by Transport Canada Aeronautical Information Manual for UAV operations

Maritime remotely operated flight training program. This specialized maritime flight training is focused on developing the required skills for ship borne UAV operations. The use of UAV flight simulators combined with initial over ground flight deck launches and recoveries evolving to cyclic ship borne remotely operated flight training missions, short and long range flight planning and with full emergency auto-rotation and sea ditching procedures. These uniquely created training programs enhance greatly the proficiency of pilots and provide a tool for optimal training asset in marine environment UAV flight operations.
Providing the redistribution of live streaming video for fast and efficient situational assessments made available to all marine traffic system managers and operators, as examples, The UAV platform can perform as a special operator providing and showcasing the much needed connectivity levels between safe local marine transits and operations promoting public confidence by providing live streaming video to the general public via website of the safe transportation of dangerous cargo over our extremity sensitive marine ecosystems. The Canadian Coast Guard current interest to implement a UAV program designed to assist in Search and Rescue missions and cost effective applications for ice patrols in Polar Regions.

International Commercial Aviation Organization (ICAO). BC Air Guards has participated in the June 2017 calls, requesting abstract papers from industry members in providing solutions for the integration of UAV traffic with the existing, globally established International Civilian Aviation Organisation (ICAO). Our submissions were made with the participation of Engineering Co-op students with contributions from the University of Victoria.
Innovation SuperCluster Initiative. The Consortium of Aerospace and Innovation of Canada (CARIC) launched calls for proposals and letter of intentions (LOI) for participation in the SuperCluster program lead by the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
Project ORCA TURTLE and project ORCA SHEPPARD. These projects are spearheaded by BC Air Guards with an international proposed collaboration, initiative pending project selection. Currently assembling a team of experts in the field of bio preservation for the safe guard of the Southern Resident Killer Whales with a mission to elevate via BC Air Guards technology the overall health index of the total Orca population living in the Salish Sea, now at 76 members.
Project BETA This project is spearheaded by BC Air Guards with an international collaboration initiative, pending project selection. We are seeking approval fro this project with an anticipated duration of 2 years.

Project data drawn from the database originating from the Maritime Remote Flight Training Activities. The surface radar and navigation equipment procurement requirements for the ship are included for this project etc.
Project BETA consist of the application of known working protocols in Remote Flight Operations conducted under current UAV regulations VLOS (Visual Line Of Sight) demonstrating a systematic evolution with new developing elements leading to AIC ( Artificial Intelligence Control)
Remote flight operations activities are conducted from our UAV carrier training ship stationed in one of our (2) segregated air space designated Sierra Romeo and November Bravo located outside UAV restricted airspace.
The on board UTM controllers have access to routine UAV air traffic. This data can be used for constructing and conducting safe air traffic approach patterns and establish special, very Low Levels (VLL) air corridors for UAV air traffic transiting from way points to way points inside our training areas. This creates the opportunity to develop effective air traffic management protocols.
Our engineering of UAVs enhanced radar signatures is designed for the assistance in the development of a UTM demonstrator model. This effort is directed at creating a surface radar coverage dome for UAV traffic in a VLL test area (Sierra Romeo and November Bravo). The combination of UAV radar signatures improvements and the radar tracking data observations are in direct support of the UAV pilot benefiting from an Enhanced Visual Line of Sight (EVLOS) and is composed of maintaining VLOS with access to altitudes, lateral distances and failures in continuous linear infrastructures including airborne obstructions from effective radar scanning.
Remaining in a segregated maritime air space, the creation of special air corridors with geo fenced borders.
Conducting remote transit flights from ship to ship positioned at the extremities of the air corridors.
The creation of the air corridor geo fences utilizing existing ILS type radio signal beams.
The creation of electronic terrain and obstacle database utilizing 3D LIDAR mesh and photogrammetry data of the air corridors with boarders defined as failures of continuous linear infrastructures, this pre-set requirement consist of utilizing the ILS type generated radio beams to become confirmation signals.
The introduction of the Quantum Sextant Navigation System in pre-set operation mode.
The Quantum Sextant Navigation System (QSNS) of the UAV is continually referencing with navigation beacons with in the air corridors, triangulating its position in real time. The information contained in the air corridors interacts with the UAV and is control by the Pulse Program Centre. BC Air Guards is proposing a sub-contractor for the purpose of UTM data management centre Note: Participation not officially confirm.
The QSNS integrated flight control system provides flight control inputs generated and received from the data rich environment geo fenced air corridors operational sensors. ILS type radio signal emitters provide the boundaries of the air corridors and real time data generated from sensors as the UAV transits threw the air corridors collecting actual flight data. The return pulse programs re-entering the QSNS on board memory is compared with the 3D Mesh LIDAR and photogrammetry database acquired during the terrain and obstacle database creation phase. Real time flight data inputs processed by the PPC and the on board Quantum Sextant Navigation System receivers are a self-contained inertial navigation system and are non GPS dependant.
Flight training of the AIC. This phase of the project consist of building the pre-set data for the QSNS remote flight navigation database with all possible UAV locations with in the air corridors and the creation of unique markers assisting with position and identification of terrain and obstacles crossed checked with the preprogrammed 3D mesh of all specific air corridors.
Unmanned Traffic Management is proposed to operate by a system of air corridors. With UAV Port Stations as operational hubs catering to the delivery of this new controlled environment.
Our project proposal consist of constructing UAV Port Stations with in VLOS distances from each other for test control.
After completion of successful air corridor navigation test of remote flights over a marine environment. We propose to use the path of the new Trans Mountain Pipe Line Expansion to build UAV Port Stations
Note: Participation not yet confirm. The project would be generating an unmanned air link between BC and Alberta.
Project GAMMA: The conception and creation of a new UAV capable of conducting wild fire suppression missions.
Project DELTA: This project focuses exclusively on the security aspects of all UAV operations.
Project EPSILON: This N+4 project (N= now plus step 1 which is project alpha, plus step 2 project beta etc.) the establishment of a forward wild fire suppression base, 100% uninhabited and AI controlled.
